Studies

The controlled way every Technology services engagement starts. A free conversation qualifies the fit; the first written finding is always a paid study — never a project quoted sight unseen.

Two kinds of study, one starting point

Both are fixed-fee, and both credit in full against your first commissioned project if you go ahead within six months.

Scoping study

For a defined problem — a discovery and technical review that turns it into a written scope, measurable acceptance criteria and a fixed quote.

Operational discovery study

For a business that knows it's inefficient but can't yet write the brief. Saphion inspects how the business actually works — one department or the full operation — and delivers a prioritised, evidence-tagged, costed opportunity roadmap. It's yours to keep.

What we look at, and what we don't

Discovery uses the minimum access it needs, not the maximum it could ask for.

1

Interviews and walkthroughs

Conversations, screen-share observation and sample documents are always enough to deliver a study.

2

Time-boxed, read-only access

Where you choose to grant it, revocable read-only access to a system can sharpen the findings.

3

What's never taken

Write access, individual mailboxes, bulk personal-data exports or credentials outside your own accounts are never part of discovery.

Start with a free qualification conversation.

No prices are published here — the right study, and its fixed fee, depends on what you tell us.
